When skimming a magazine (or book or newspaper) do you flip through the pages from front to back or back to front?

When I pick up a magazine, I go from front to back.
When I pick up a newspaper, I go from front to back.
When I pick up a text book, I go from front to back. Then I go back to front. I'll turn it upside down and go back to front and then front to middle and back to front. Afterwards I'll go back to the middle, turn it sideways and go to front... ok, just kidding... I go from front to back.
When I pick up a girl, I go from bottom... oh wait, wrong question...
The Bears were who we thought they were... they were who we thought they were. We've played them in pre-season, who the hell take a third game in the preseason like it's bullsh#%t, bullsh#%t! We played them in the third game, everybody played three quarters, the Bears are who we THOUGHT they were! That's why we take the damn field. Now, if you want to crown them, then crown their ass! But they are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!
That's what I put down in my professor evaluation sheet (aka CAPE in my school) today; I think my professor and Dennis Green have a lot in common.
By the way, I think this will make a funny Coors Light commercial.
Today was a fantastic day in La Jolla, CA. The sun shining, few clouds, blue sky, and a cool breeze comming from the Pacific convinced me to walk to school instead of taking my car. I decided to take some pictures as I walked to my classes and here are some of them.
The next time a day like this comes, I better catch a view of San Diego from Mount Soledad.
It totally blows when you're the only one in the workplace while everyone else gets to go home. To make things even worse, I haven't eaten anything but a protein bar in the morning. Hopefully, I can get all of this work done before Boston Legal is on.
And I've got homework due tomorrow...
What a day.
Yesterday, I read ESPN's "Burning Questions" section about the speculation that the San Diego Chargers are "alienating" LaDainian Tomlinson. I cringed at several of their comments that the Chargers better keep LT "pleased" and bringing in a coach that will "mesh well with him". Although I agree that every workplace needs to keep its employees happy to some degree, building a team just to please their star player just sounds ridiculous to me. Granted that LT is one of the NFL's leading scorers, and his presence gives his team a boost. However, just because you accommodate the big star doesn't mean the entire team will prosper and have a better chance to get to the Superbowl. Also, just because there have been players (such as T.O., Vick, Barber) who got very disgruntled at team management doesn't mean that LT will react the same way.
This is why I don't believe in franchise players and selecting a MVP, because these practices contradict the fundamental rule that "there is no 'I' in team sports and sometimes sends the wrong message to fans, especially the younger ones, that one player is more important than the rest of the team.
Class Registration is today and so far, I know I will sign up for the following:
- Quantum Mechanics
- Physics Lab: Physical Measurements
- Playwriting Workshop
I also want to take a Plasma Physics Lab, but I'm not sure if I can handle two labs in one quarter. It's perplexing because this lab won't be offered next year, my final year in college. I thought about taking the Plasma Physics lab next quarter and wait to take the other lab next year, but there's another lab I want to take next year that is a continuation of Physical Measurements. Oh well, I'll just have to petition the department about this situation.
I was suprised that String Theory is going to be taught next quarter aftering being forgotten for a long time by the department. I'm certainly interested in the topic, but the lecture time conflicts with my Physical Measurements Lab.
Damn, I didn't even sign up for the class, and I'm already starting to hate my lab.
Earlier today, I visited my least favorite place in the world, the grocery.
Actually, I don't hate all groceries, just the one that is nearest to my apartment. The reason I don't like this particular store is how crowded it gets ( I'm a person who gets very irritated and impatient in crowded spaces ). It's just a regular Ralphs store, but it feels like I'm shopping at a Costco or at a mall just by the number of people walking around here. Whether I show up in the mornings (around 9am) or at late nights (around 11pm), the place is swarming with humans! So, I have to dodge and maneuver through these organic obstacles with their bulky metallic counterparts filled with diabetes-giving crap.
Today was no different except for the part there were some people who still haven't figured out how to use the self-checkout machines, and one of them was actually a mechanical engineer whom I recognized!
I wish I could just afford my own farm.
What's the most famous movie you've never seen?

The Godfather.
What's the best thing since sliced bread?
Assuming sliced bread first appeared in 1925, I gotta go with Rock N' Roll.
